Abu Dhabi, 30 August 2025: The Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX) has successfully concluded its much-anticipated opening day, welcoming thousands of visitors from across the region and around the world. Held under the esteemed patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra Region and Chairman of the Emirates Falconers’ Club, the 2025 edition features an expansive showcase across 15 unique sectors, reflecting the UAE’s commitment to both heritage and innovation.
The exhibition halls of the ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi were filled with visitors explored a diverse range of exhibits spanning from hunting equipment, equestrian gear, falconry, traditional arts, outdoor adventure, and more. 2,068 exhibitors and brands were featured across the event, with 552 national companies participating, showcasing traditional and modern products. Visitors were able to take advantage of interactive displays and networking opportunities, with international delegations and local enthusiasts alike drawn to the event’s global reach and inclusive atmosphere.
The ADIHEX falcon auctions have continued with the fifth live auction taking place at the event, as well as the opening of the online falcon auction. The auctions will continue on the 31 August, where visitors will be able to participate in person and online with elite falcons from local and international falcon farms.
The Knowledge Hub emerged as a central point of engagement, hosting a series of educational sessions throughout the day. The opening session focused on the intersection of technology and sustainable development, highlighting innovative approaches to wildlife conservation and responsible hunting practices with expert insights provided by leading panellists. Additional sessions explored the history and future of falconry, as well equine and camel nutrition from industry experts.
One of the day’s standout attractions was the Live Arena, which captivated audiences with displays of horsemanship, canine agility, and traditional hunting skills. The Arena featured a Dog Sport and Agility Show, a Fun Dog Show, equestrian training demonstrations and displays, as well as cultural performances that celebrated the rich heritage of the UAE. The engaging programme throughout ADIHEX offers families of all ages with chance to witness the skills and traditions that define the region’s outdoor culture.
ADIHEX will continue until 7 September, offering an expanded programme of competitions, features, product launches, and family-friendly activities. The exhibition remains the region’s premier destination for anyone passionate about hunting, equestrianism, and the protection of natural heritage.
